1, first go to the official website to download the latest version of Tomcat, and then unzip.

2, open the folder, find the Bin folder in the directory, find the inside of the Startup.bat. Double-click this folder to start the server.

3. Then pop up the dialog box if the last line appears, the following command indicates that the server started successfully.

4, open the browser, enter "http://localhost:8080/" in the Address bar or "http://127.0.0.1:8080/" appears below the page appears the installation success

Modify the Tomact service port to 80 after completion of the above work

2. List Contents

1. Download the GeoServer installation package from http://geoserver.org/, and download the Web container war package;
2. After downloading, unzip the file, can get Geoserver.war file;
3. Copy the file to the Tomcat/webapps directory, start the Tomcat,geoserver will complete the decompression installation;
4. After the Tomcat service starts, entering the following address Http://localhost/geoserver in the browser will open the GeoServer login interface as shown in:

5. Enter user name: admin, Password: geoserver, click to login, will appear as shown in the bounds '

6. Create the following geoserver\data_dir\data\shape in the Tomcat-geoserver directory, and then copy the SHP map file to the directory geoserver\data_dir\data\shape;
7. Click on the workspace in the left navigation menu of the GeoServer main interface, which will appear as

8. The interface lists some of the existing workspaces, to facilitate later maintenance, we would like to create a new workspace, click on the Add the next workspace face appears:
9. In Name:map, namespace: Http://localhost/map, click the Default workspace check box, set as the default workspace, and fill in the contents as follows:

After filling out, click the Submit button;
10. Click on the data Storage menu on the left, which will appear as shown in the interface:

11. Click Add New Datastore and the interface will appear as shown:

12. Click Vector Data Source-directory of spatial files (shapefiles)-Takes a Directory of Shapefiles and exposes it as a data store option appears as shown in Interface:

13. Fill in the data source name with shape and select the directory where the Shapefiles file is located, as shown in the following:

After filling out, click Save. will appear as shown in the interface:

14. We select the first one, click the Publish button and the interface appears as shown:

15. We just need to click Find in the definition SRS, find epsg:4326, click, the data will automatically fill in the text box, SRS processing selection: Mandatory declaration, the border is calculated from the data, the content as shown:



When you are finished, click the Save button and you will see that the list of layers has already been added.
16. Click on the left Layer Preview button and the interface appears as shown:

17. To find the layer you just added, click the Openlayers button and the following screen will appear:

At this point, GeoServer published the Map WMS service successfully.
