Git server and Client installation procedures

Git is an open-source, distributed version control system, and because of the GIT distributed architecture, users can view, write, and submit code locally from the GIT server, and git is very fast and suitable for large, distributed project management. The following are detailed steps for Git server side and client installation.

1. Physical environment

Git-server Centos 5.8 git-1.8.3.tar.gz

Git-client Windows 7 SourceTreesetup.exe

2.Git Service-side installation

2.1 Download Git installation package in http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=483951&uk=2401181566.

2.2 Modify the environment variable, if configure do not specify prefix can omit this step.

2.3 Create a Git version library and initialize the Test.git version library.

2.4 Set up account information and view its information.

2.6 Build git users to git clients through GIT accounts to access the GIT server.
