The GNOME development team has released the Gnome 2.30 official version. GNOME 2.30 has 6 months of development and includes many new features, improvements, bug fixes, and translation updates.
GNOME 2.30 Mainly brings the following new features to its users: Nautilus contains a new split view mode, now defaults to browser mode Empathy get a lot of new features Tomboy can now automatically sync your notes in the background, improve the boot speed, Enhanced copy and paste functionality The GNOME System tool now works with PolicyKit using the Unlock button to verify that the time Tracker applet has added a new standalone run mode evince enhanced print support, which can be added in the PDF document attachment Epiphany now When you can use gnome-keyring to remember the password Vinagre joined the SSH tunnel to support other minor improvements and adjustments: New fonts can be installed in Nautilus by double-clicking, the status icon will automatically appear in the notification area when you select multiple keyboard configurations, and Brasero will now use C Dda2wav to copy music CDs, etc.
