February 24--Google will include a "do not keep track" button in its browser to allow users to restrict their data from being collected, according to Bloomberg News.
Google today e-mailed a statement that the company will join other Internet companies to support an "anti-tracking" program. The program can prevent personal web browsing records from being collected by the advertising system, to provide targeted advertising for future use.
"We are delighted to be able to reach an agreement with the industry and unanimously support the ' do not follow ' proposal."
