After Google Desktop Search is installed, a plug-in (: http://desktop.google.com/plugins/ I /gdcalendar.html? Hl = ZH-CN), it feels good after use, so it was hand-written and improved a little. After the hand-written, the interface is as follows:
To the originalProgramThe following improvements were made:
1. Changed the display style: the original program used bold to display the date with a schedule, and I changed it to Blue to display more eye-catching.
2. fixed the problem of garbled Chinese characters when displaying detailed information. The Chinese Text displayed on the right is normal, but garbled characters may appear in the original English version.
3. added the lunar calendar display. The calendar display is added to the calendar tooltip, title, and calendar details. Occasionally used once
4. modified the "Create a calendar" method. In the original English version, only calendar events of the current day can be added. If you want to add calendar events of another date, you can only open a web page to add events. Sometimes, users logging on to the web page have different user names than those of applets, as a result, it will be added to the schedules of other users, and the Chinese version will be changed to add the calendar to the selected date.
At present, the blog Park often mentions copyright issues. The release of the Chinese software should be approved by the original software author. This plug-in is provided by Google, and I do not know who to ask for permission to develop this plug-in, so I submitted this plug-in to Google :( http://desktop.google.com/pluginsubmit), I submitted in September 4, and soon received an automatic reply to receive the plug-in submitted email, but a week passed, no response at all, I have to publish it here.
Given that copyright issues are currently under discussion, we will not provide them directly. If necessary, leave an email and I will send it.
PS: I always think that global companies like Google should have a good support for Chinese, but I found two problems during the Chinese process:
1. the HTML display control detailsview provided by the plug-in displays garbled Chinese characters. There are two solutions to this problem:
A. Use webbrowser instead of detailsview, see: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Developer/browse_thread/thread/640463daaf48b4ae
B. Convert Chinese characters to the "" form. For example, if "test" is converted to "test", this method is used by the plug-in. Method A is only known later.
2. Google's software submission page has problems with Chinese support.
Test is as follows: Open the submit page: http://desktop.google.com/pluginsubmit, enter Chinese in a field, and then directly submit the software, in the returned page can see the Chinese field just filled in is garbled. I don't know, and then I will respond to this problem to Google.
I found this problem because I filled all the fields, because "download file size:" I filled in 38.6, and Google returned "This is not a number ", other fields are garbled, so I have to rewrite them once and paste them to the page.
Chinese characters in the title of an email automatically replied by Google are also garbled, using "Is there a garbled code in the email content ?" Option after the title display Chinese Normal, both of the Web code is UTF-8, do not know why this happens.
