Sogou Pinyin Linux version released, FCITX PPA removed sogou pinyin, for want to continue to use FCITX users, can install Google Pinyin to achieve Chinese input.
If you are using Ubuntu Gnome, you need to remove ibus before installing Google Pinyin, open terminal input below to remove IBUs
sudo apt-get remove IBUssudo apt-get autoremove
Then add Fcitx PPA
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fcitx-team/nightlysudo apt-get update
The PPA source table needs to be modified because the PPA is not currently supported for Ubuntu 14.04
sudo gedit/etc/apt/sources.list.d/fcitx-team-nightly-trusty.list
Open after the original release code trusty changed to saucy, save after update and install Google Pinyin
sudo apt-get updatesudoinstall Fcitx-googlepinyin
After installation, use CTRL + SPACE to switch to Google Pinyin.
