Mariza Meyers Marissa Mayer, vice president of Google's search for products and user experience, said at the company's annual shareholder meeting on the same day that the search service would be officially launched next Thursday (20th).

Google said the company had made the decision early this year after it learned that some of its Gmail accounts had been hacked.
The company has not yet made any explanation as to how the cryptographic search service works.
Google used encryption as an alternative to Gmail accounts as early as 2008, after which it set the cryptographic service to be the default choice for Gmail accounts in January this year. Google is expected to take the same protective measures for google.con in the future.
"Google's decision is right and we do need to use encrypted Web services on a wider scale," said Marc Maiffret, founder and chief hacker officer of eeye Digital Security, Eeye Digital, commenting on Google's actions: As a result, users can ensure that their information is not compromised by using a wireless network for Internet searches at airports or other public places. ”
