Unit after work often a lot of employees do not shut the computer, the leadership found after the request to solve the problem. I think it would be time-consuming to go to the offices, so I thought I could turn off all the machines through a computer. Because all the office machines are installed, I think of the use of remote shutdown "Shutdown" command. Here's how:
Step 1, click start → run, enter "Gpedit.msc" in the dialog box, click [OK] to open the Group Policy Editor.
Step 2, on the left side of the Group Policy Editor window, open "Computer configuration → settings → security settings → local policies → user Rights Assignment", select "Force shutdown from the remote" in the right window. The pop-up dialog shows that only members of the "Administrators" group currently have permission to remotely shut down, click the Add User or Group button below the dialog box, enter "Heyongsheng" (Administrator account) in the dialog box that pops up, and then click [OK].
In step 3, a "Heyongsheng" user is added to the "Force shutdown from remote system" attribute, click OK, and finally close the Group Policy Editor window.
After doing this to the computers in each office, we give the "Heyongsheng" user of each computer the right to remotely shut down the server. By the end of the day, I'll just do the following on my own machine:
Step 1 Click start → run, enter "Shutdown-i" in the dialog box, and the "Remote Shutdown" dialog will appear on the screen.
Step 2 Click the [Tour] button and the Find Computer dialog box appears.
Step 3 Click the [Start Find] button and all the computers in this network will appear
Step 4 hold down the CTRL key, select the computer you want to close by using the mouse, and then click OK, and the computer that you want to shut down appears in the Remote Shutdown dialog box.
Step 5 Select a suitable closing reason in the drop-down box of the option, then click [OK]
According to the above steps, the remote shutdown will be completed automatically.
