Vista operating system is now a strong momentum, many friends have a taste, in the optimization of Vista, no doubt using its own function to achieve optimization of the most insurance, the first use of its friends want to find the optimization option is quite cumbersome, then how can we quickly discover hidden in the vista of the optimization "treasure "Then?" With Vista Toolbox 2.0, we can quickly step into the door of Vista optimization.

First, quickly open the toolbox

The tool is a green tool that runs directly to the Vista Tool.exe Open Program main interface (Figure 1).

We can use the "common", "Settings", "Network", "security" pages in the panel to set up the appropriate operation. For the sake of explanation, we use it to make the rapid optimization of Vista for example to introduce.

Second, change the Start menu

By default, Windows XP and Vista dual operating system Startup menu replaces Windows XP with the words "earlier versions of Windows", which is not in our habit.

1. Change the boot menu name

We can go to the "Settings" page of the "Vista Toolbox" main interface and double-click the "Start Modify" project. In the Launch Modifier dialog box that pops up, you can enter a custom menu name in the "Modify earlier versions of Windows '" column, and click the Modify button. Then, in the "Modify Startup Time" column, enter the system startup time, click Modify (see Figure 2).

2. Replace the default boot system

After modifying the Vista operating system, we found that the default boot operating system is vista. If you plan to change it to another operating system on the dual boot menu, such as Windows XP, open the system Properties → advanced system settings option on the Settings page, and in the Open dialog box, click the Settings button in the Startup and recovery area.

Then, in the system startup area, open the list of startup menus, set the default operating system to Windows XP, and click OK to implement a custom default-enabled operating system (Figure 3).
