Solution:

Check to see if an external microphone is used, unplug the external microphone, and use the machine's built-in microphone test. If normal, may be an external microphone problem, if the failure persists, can be eliminated by the following three points:

1. Third-party software (such as QQ, Sina UC and other chat tools) caused

If QQ, Sina UC in the built-in recorder can be used normally, this is a third-party software setup problems, contact the relevant software customer service consulting. If it is QQ, you can cancel the automatic adjustment of the microphone volume, as shown below:

Open the Chat dialog window and click on "Voice settings" inside the "microphone icon";

To cancel the "auto-adjust microphone volume" check box, click "OK".

2. The built-in microphone setup problem causes

Adjust the volume of the built-in microphone to around 50 and the microphone to "0". Modify the Microphone format default CD quality, specific settings under Win7 and WIN8 systems are as follows:

In the lower right corner of the desktop taskbar find the speaker icon, right click on the speaker, the following prompt, left click Select "Recording Device";

The following window appears, double-click to select "Microphone";

After double-clicking "Microphone", will jump out of the microphone properties of the window, select the "Level" option, the microphone volume adjustment of about 50, the microphone to strengthen the adjustment to "0", click OK, as shown below:

When you double-click Microphone, you will jump out of the Microphone Properties window, select the "Advanced" option, and change the default format below to "CD quality", the reason why this machine failed because of the choice of "DVD quality".

3. Sound card driver and system issues

If none of the above two methods are valid, you will need to reinstall the official sound card driver. If it is still invalid, consider backing up the data to reinstall the system.

4. Hardware failure
