Failure phenomenon:
IdeaPad G470 Notebook Video drive does not install correctly.
Solution:
1. To ensure the use of Lenovo's official release of the graphics driver, such as the use of non-Lenovo website issued by the driver, please go to Lenovo website download installation. See the specific way 2.
2. If you can access the Internet, the host number (s/n on the white sticker on the back of the host: the characters on the back) is downloaded at the official website and the download address is as follows:
Http://support1.lenovo.com.cn/lenovo/wsi/Modules/Drive.aspx
3. See the host name (can be viewed outside the box or packing list of host names), according to different models, install the corresponding drive:
(1) G470: Install the Intel integrated video card first, then install AMD to switch the independent video drive.
(2) g470g: Only the integrated video card can be installed.
(3) g470e: Install nvidia independent graphics driver.
4. Special Circumstances:
(1) Non-XP system, such as unable to install, please open the machine continuously press F2 key, enter the BIOS to set up, the specific operation see appendix.
(2) XP system, such as the machine equipped with dual graphics card, you can only use integrated graphics work, independent graphics can not be used.
(3) The use of non-original operating system may cause the official website driver can not install correctly, please back up the important data and use the original Microsoft System installation, or contact Lenovo to purchase the genuine operating system.
If the above situation can not solve the problem, you should consider hardware failure, can be sent to the service network to assist detection.
Note:
On the power-on, press the F2 key continuously, enter the BIOS interface, press the direction key "--->" switch to the interface as shown in Figure 1:
Confirm that the SATA items currently selected in the diagram, such as AHCI, restore the default values by F9, as shown in the following figure, select Yes to confirm;
Then press F10 to move the cursor to [yes], enter, that is, save and exit.
As shown below, such as the SATA project currently selected as compatible;
Then press F9 to restore the default value, as shown below, select Yes to confirm;
Then the SATA item is changed back to compatible, then press F10, the following figure, select Yes, you can.
