Import Excel data into an Access database



Recently, some netizens often ask questions about EXECL database operation, many of them are about "Excel data import Access" problem. There are two ways to import execl data into Access: One is the direct import method and the other is to establish the connection method. And our daily work in the most of the direct import method, limited to space, I will only talk about direct import law, I hope to bring you a reference.

You can do this by following these steps:

1, start Microsoft Access2000;

2, the establishment of an empty database student;

3, in the object column select the "table" option, the implementation of the "file → get External data → import" command, open the Import dialog box;

4, select the file type "for Microsoft Execl", click the down black triangle to the right of look in, select the directory where the. xls file is located, and then select the workbook file to import the data;

5, click the "Import" button to enter the Import Datasheet Wizard dialog box, as shown in Figure 1:

6, press "Next", select the "First row contains column headings" before the check box;

7, press "Next", enter "Please select the location of the data" page, if you do not want to save in the existing table, then select "New Table", otherwise leave the default value "existing table" and then select the table name; (I choose a new table here)

8, press "Next", enter the "Field selection" page, keep the default value. As shown in Figure 2:

9, press "Next", enter the page shown in Figure 3, select "Choose Primary Key".

10, press "Next", enter the interface shown in Figure 4, enter the table name in the "Import to table" input box, I enter "one class" here.

11, "Finish" button, the system will pop up an import Complete dialog box (Figure 5 in the middle), press the "OK" button.
