Applications that are based on the previous SDK must be debugged to be used on the new SDK. Although the basic concept is the same, there are a number of schema changes in the new version that make compatibility impossible.

If two apps use the exact same settings, you can get data from the same camera settings. If the settings are different, the camera will support the first entry to the app, first-come-first-served. Other apps that require different resolutions will receive an error message.
