Introduction

A casual mistake made the Chinese "apple girl" popular all over the world. Maybe the iPhone has found a new selling point?

No one has ever imagined that an employee from the iPhone China factory accidentallyPhotoIt will cause a storm on the Internet.

It originated in August 20. A netizen uploaded three beautiful women at the macrumors forum.Photo(Her name has not been published yet ).

"I don't know if this is normal. I received a brand new iPhone in my home in the UK. After activating it in iTunes, I found that the screen image (usually self-set) has been set ." Markm49uk wrote. "PhotoThe man in the company was smiling at the production line.-have other people found out ?"

PhotoIt attracted the attention of the Chinese and English news media. This morning, the southern China Morning Post found that the person in the photo was an employee of Foxconn, an iPhone manufacturer and a Taiwan-based company. People confirmed that she was a factory in Shenzhen.

A Foxconn spokesman explained that the employee may have taken photos to detect the device, but she forgot to delete it. Another Foxconn User told Southern Metropolis Daily that the mysteriousGirlNot dismissed, which is also consistent with some comments in Apple's rumor Forum as expected.

When the Associated Press contacted apple, they did not comment as usual, but I think this may lose a great opportunity.

Apple should encourage production staff in AsiaPhoto--
-Even their names are put on iPhone phones, and iPod and Apple laptops can play a trick, so customers know who is making their devices. Apple can even
Employees make a model: "California design. [Designer name] is made in Shenzhen, China ." (Designed by Apple in California.
Built by [insert name here] in Shenzhen, China ).

Of course, not every machine has suchPhotoSo it is like winning the first prize. This is a powerful tool that helps Apple remain invincible in the competition, and it can make their products more personalized.

Why not?

Impulsive moment brings fame to Chinese "iPhone girl"

When a fellow worker in Chinese iPhone factory casually snapped her
Picture, neither cocould have imagined the Internet buzz they wowould
Generate.

It started when a visitor to macrumors posted three pictures of the winsome young lady (her name has not been released) in an iPhone forum on the site Aug. 20.

"Not sure if this is or is not the 'norm' but I just already ed my brand
New iPhone here in the UK and once it had been activated on iTunes I
Found that the home screen (the screen you can personalise with
Photo) already had a photo set against it !!!!" Wrote markm49uk
Kingston Upon hull. "It wowould appear that someone on the Production
Line was having a bit of fun-Has anyone else found this ?"

The photos attracted enough attention that news organizations both
In the U. K. and China soon took an interest. This morning the South China Morning Post
Tracked down someone at Foxconn Technology Group, the Taiwan-based
Contractor that builds the iPhone for Apple, who confirmed the girl
Works in a factory in the city of Shenzhen.

The spokeswoman explained that the workers may have taken the photos
To test the device but neglected to delete them. Another Foxconn
Official told China's, Southern Metropolitan Daily that the mystery
Girl had not been fired, as several of those commenting on
Macrumors Forum had predicted.

Apple as usual had no comment when contacted by the Associated Press, but I think it cocould be missing a big opportunity here.

Apple cocould encourage factory workers in Asia to put their photos --
Or even their names -- On the iPhone, iPods and Macs they build as
Fun gimmick so customers cocould see the person who built their device.
Apple cocould even supply a template for the workers: "designed by Apple
In California. Built by [insert name here] in Shenzhen, China ."

Not every device wowould have a photo of course, so getting one wowould
Be like winning a raffle. It cocould be one more thing that wocould set
Apple apart from the competition and make its products even more
Personal.
