Iterm2 official instructions for use
Text Selection---------------
1. Select with the mouse
2. press cmd + f to open the search box, enter the start field of the text you want to copy, and search for the given field. press tab to add the selected fields one by one, shift + tab to select the fields one by one.
Window splitting-------------------
Iterm2 can split a tab into multiple windows, each of which is a different terminal session. You can use cmd + d or cmd + shift + d to split the window vertically and horizontally. You can also use cmd + opt + arrow keys to move the window, in addition, you can use cmd + shift + enter to maximize the current window, hide other windows, and press the combination key to restore the window.
Hotkey window--------------
Iterm2 provides a special window hotkey. You can press this hotkey in any program window to return to the iterm2 window. You need to go to Preferences> Keys. enable the "Show/Hide iTerm2 with a system-wide hotkey" option. You can also set your own hotkey.
Paste history---------------- You can access your clipboard history by using cmd + shift + h. You can also enter a keyword segment to filter historical records. In addition, you can also Save your paste record to the file by setting Preferences> General> Save copy/paste
Locate the mouse position--------------- In the terminal interface, when the cursor position cannot be found, you can quickly find the cursor position by pressing cmd + /.
