Keynote how to add text

The text box itself is an object that can be modified like most other objects; You can rotate the text box, change its border, fill the text box with color, layer it, and so on. Several text-specific controls can be used to change the appearance of text in a box, including its font, color, size, and alignment.

You can also add and edit text in a shape or table cell, and format it like any other text.

Create a new text box

1, click "Text" in the toolbar.

The text box is added to the slide (you can change the appearance of the text later).

2, type your own text to replace the placeholder text.

3, if necessary, you can adjust its size by selecting the text box and dragging any selection of control handles (white squares).

4. Drag the text box to the position you want on the slide.

To delete a text box, select the text box, and then press the DELETE key.

Enter special characters and symbols

You can insert special characters in the text, such as mathematical symbols, letters with accent marks, arrows and emoticons, and Japanese, Chinese and Korean characters, and so on.

1. Click where you want the character or symbol to appear in the text.

2. Choose Edit > Special characters (from the Edit menu at the top of the computer screen) to open the characters window.

3. Click an icon at the bottom of the character window to select a character category (click the left arrow or right arrow to see more categories).

4, click the character you want to insert in the text.
