So what is ShortBrain?

ShortBrain is short-circuited to our thinking, so that we can learn the mysteries of English from the perspective of children.

At that time, we were very small and did not know what English was. We were full of curiosity about the unknown world. Gradually we grew up and began to feel what the world was and what the world was full, this Curiosity keeps us growing.

Maybe I described it relatively simple, but if we think about whether we have such an understanding when we are learning Chinese: ShortBrain grew from learning Chinese in our childhood: I don't know -- seeing the world -- learning pronunciation, understanding basic things-learn Chinese characters at school. Isn't that the ShortBrain stage?

We are all grown up. Returning to childhood is just our dream. It is very difficult to regain children's cognition in almost 10 years of English career, but it is impossible in the information society. Here I will introduce a simple method-consciousness transfer method.

When watching English videos, students often flash previous words when they appear in pictures, but they are powerless in the face of unfamiliar words. It seems that we have transitioned to several stages to achieve basic cognition. In fact, we have not passed the test of being a child. We need to know that at this moment we are not able to speak English and are learning slowly.

Actively receive information: When we watch videos and images, we often see the above situation. This has become a bottleneck for our children. First, we did not take ourselves as children and translate them, explain how the received information enters the status.

Passive reception of information: for example, I am doing a question. Suddenly someone is playing music outside the window. I want to let myself not listen to music and continue to do the question. In this atmosphere, I am passively receiving music.

This is the case for young children. Therefore, when we watch videos, we should not look at them as third parties. "the red and the dark are near the red ink of Zhu. We want to play the role in the video as a member. We want to imagine that we are performing in the video. However, audio is not only an explanation of our actions, but we only need to do our own actions, let the voice be more intense.
