How to hide some unwanted portlets.

There are two ways of doing this:

The first is to modify the configuration file: Portal-web/docroot/web-inf/liferay-display.xml

Put what you don't need in the Category.hidden.

Your own portlet, you need to modify the Liferay-display.xml file for the corresponding portlet.

The second method: setting invalidates the portlet.

This method is not required to modify the configuration file. However, only the corresponding ones, even if they are invalid, do not affect the system's portlets.
