Abstract:
In SharePoint 2007, we encountered a very demon problem, we added a new people type field to a custom list and used this field = [Me] in the view, everything looks normal, but users cannot use this filter setting to display their own content.
Many methods have been tried. because the list is a custom list, custom dataformwebpart is used to display new forms, view forms, and edit forms, the ID of each field is marked with a value similar to ff23 {$ POS}, and the number following ff of the newly added field is randomly given, will SharePoint have a special mark on its numbers? Should it be the sequence number of the added field? After trying many methods and methods, I finally found the answer in a blog:
SharePoint 2007 has no limit on the number of people type fields, but if more than 16 people type fields cannot be used in the view, and in our test, even if some of the preceding fields are deleted, they cannot be used in the view, or SharePoint does count the Deleted fields, or the server needs to restart IIS, I did not try the later part because I was working in a restricted environment.
