1. Browse the disc image and extract the files directly
Objective: To directly extract the contents of the disc image without burning the CD or the virtual CD-ROM software
Method: Open and extract the file or folder directly (UltraISO supports 27 common disc image formats)
Important: Extract files can use the "Extract to" feature to specify the destination directory, or you can select the path in the local browser below the interface and drag and drop it directly.
2. Make the CD into ISO and keep it on the hard disk
Purpose: To back up the contents of the disc for virtual or later burning
Methods: Use the "Make disc image" function, select the optical drive, press "make" on it.
Important: UltraISO is a sector-by-section copy, so you can create an image of the startup disc, which can still be started after burning. However, UltraISO does not support copies of music CDs, VCD discs and encrypted game discs.

Purpose: For burning or virtual use
Method: Create a new ISO file, drag the file or directory from the local browser at the bottom of the interface to the "CD" Browser above, and save it at the end.
Important: UltraISO can make 10GB DVD image files, if it is a CD-R, pay attention to the top of the "total size" to avoid the capacity beyond the limit. In addition, making a DVD image suggests selecting "UDF", making the CD image select "Joliet".
