What happened after creating the MMS Service app

========================

1. on the server running the MMS instance, the MMS Web Service is created.

2. The content type syndication hub feature on the content type hub server is activated.

3. In any site collection in the web app associated with the MMS Service app, a link pointing to the hub and subscribed content type will appear on the site settings page.

Note: In the content type publishing Error Log On the content type publishing hubs page, only errors occurred to the site collection during content type publication are recorded.

4. on the content type hub site, the link pointing to "content type service application" Error Log appears on the site settings page. if error reporting is enabled when an MMS app is created, the error occurs during content type syndication.

5. The content type in the hub content type gallery will have a new option to manage the content type Publishing.

 

MMS will create a cab file containing content type before publish content type. On the hub site, you can see this hidden list in the address below.

The action of transmitting content type is calledContent type subscriberThe timer job is completed. It will download all the CAB files and make necessary modifications. The address for downloading and processing the cab file is % Temp % directory.

 

If error reporting is enabled, you can view the error information of the subscriber site at the following address.

The information in the above list of each subscriber site will be copied to the master log list maintained by this service. This master log list can be viewed in the following address.
