Appendix: emergency recovery installation steps

1. Backup content

Ø account: MDaemon \ app \ userlist. dat file

Ø mail: MDaemon \ Users folder

Ø configuration file: MDaemon \ app folder (almost all configuration files can be saved in this directory)

Ø sequence column number: MDaemon \ app \ MDaemon. ini (search for the key field and save the three-member seven-character uppercase letters)

 

2. installation settings:

Download and install MDaemon

Whether to fill in the original domain name in the settings-Primary Domain Name

Copy the userlist. dat file of the account to the corresponding directory.

Ø copy the Email users folder to the corresponding directory

Ø if you want to overwrite the original configuration file, open the backup app folder, and find the corresponding file, such as multipop settings, in the "MDaemon \ app" directory "multipop. DAT file; email list, "*. "GRP" file; "cfrules" in the "MDaemon \ app" directory of the Content Filter rule. DAT file.

Note: For more details about the file's corresponding configuration properties, see the "FileList-en.dat" file under the "mdaemom \ app" directory. Almost all configuration files can be viewed and edited in notepad.

Enter the serial number (Help --- register ALT-N software) and then activate (Help --- activate ALT-N software --- activate MDaemon software ). If it cannot be activated, contact Shanghai Soft Information Technology and MDaemon technical support.
