Microsoft: frequent updates unreliable IE 9 is the most suitable for Enterprises

At the end of last month, Microsoft sneaked at the speed of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox's cool version release, and thought that although they did this, however, the benefits of enterprise users are ignored. Internet Explorer is applicable to all Windows users.

A few days ago, Microsoft quoted Forrester's research data and reiterated that IE9 is the best browser for enterprise users.

Forrester conducted a survey on the six companies involved in the Microsoft IE9 technology adoption project TAP. Based on the data they obtained from IE8's upgrade to IE9, they modeled 50 thousand of employees, the result is as follows:

 

According to the preceding report, enterprises can benefit $6 million in three years after the upgrade from IE8 to IE9. If a 10% discount rate is adopted, it is equivalent to the current direct revenue of $5 million. According to Forrester, the data obtained in this survey shows that migrating from IE8 to IE9 can significantly benefit enterprises two years later.

Microsoft said that for enterprises that have adopted Windows 7, it is recommended to upgrade the browser to IE9, because IE9 is the best browser on Windows.
