When talking about the 9-Year-Old Internet Explorer 6, Gavin said Microsoft would join the outside world to speed up IE6's elimination. Gavin pointed out that IE6 is a browser made for a very different Web in a different era. A modern Web requires a modern browser. In other words, IE6 is no longer in line with the current Web era. Speaking of Windows XP, Gavin pointed out that Windows XP is indeed a magic operating system, but it was created nine years ago and its security configuration file cannot meet today's security requirements. If you are pursuing Security, Windows XP is obviously not the best choice. In the development process of IE9, Microsoft is very concerned about its security. IE9 can block far more malware than Firefox or Google Chrome.

Gavin said that we are the joint leader of the HTML5 Working Group. In fact, we are leading the HTML5 testing group. We use CSS 2.1 and have provided 7000 test cases to the World Wide Web alliance.
