Mono: Hello mono!

Go to our Linux system, enter monodevelop in the terminal, and start the IDE development tool that comes with mono.

The startup is completed, as shown in:

Now, let's start our first mono program, taking helloworld as an example.

Select a new solution/project from the File menu, 2.2

Select the first console program and click the new button. monodevelop will automatically create a template for the console program:

Modify the main method as follows:

Public static void main (string [] ARGs)

{

String name = console. Readline ();

Console. writeline ("hello" + name + "!");

}

 

 

Compile the program by f8th and generate hellomono.exe. Run this program on the terminal:
