MSSQL 2012 Installation Error 0X858C001B

This error is always reported when you install Microsoft Sql Server R2 earlier:

SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:

The SQL Server License agreement cannot is located for the selected edition, Enterprise. This could is a result of corrupted media or the edition being unsupported by the media.

Error code 0x858c001b.

Initially thought to be the installation of media problems, and later found the problem: the original version of the operating system and MSSQL version of the language is not appropriate.

Operating system Environment: Windows 7 enterpirse SP1 English version

Mssql:microsoft SQL Server R2 Chinese version. (Start with CN as the file name)

Workaround:

1. Install the appropriate language pack for your computer. (Download the OS-related language pack and install settings to MSDN)

2. Download the media that is compatible with the operating system language. (Slowly used to the English interface)
