By the end of 2001, Google took a new penalty for a search engine optimization website using cheating technology, reducing the prvalue of the website to 0. This is called PR0 in the search engine optimization forum. The PR0 feature is that the prvalue of all or at least half of a website's webpages in the Google Toolbar is 0. Although the website has high-quality import links, the PR value is still very low. These webpages are not completely removed from the index. They often appear at the end of the index result, but are difficult to find.
0 does not always mean punishment. Sometimes, it seems that the website to be punished only lacks the import link with a high PR value. However, if a website's webpage is already in a good position in the search results, it suddenly shows a terrible white PR column, or, there has not been any material change to the website's import link, which means (according to the general opinion) that Google has taken punitive measures against it.
We can't do anything about the PR0 penalty. We can only speculate on the cause of the PR0 penalty. Google spokespersons seldom publish new information in Google algorithms. Even so, we still need to find a method to study the PR0 working method theoretically, because this method is of great significance for search engine optimization.
