Photoshop expert Russell brown recently published a video demonstrating Photoshop cs4
"Content-aware scaling" function. Simply put, "content-aware scaling" is Photoshop.
When you scale an image, you can sense the important parts of the image and keep them unchanged, but only scale the remaining parts. Video link (quick time format)
The working principle of this function is that Photoshop first analyzes your image and finds out the important part. In general, the foreground part of the image will be protected, the background content is scaled separately.
The content-aware scaling function is not limited to scaling the background. You can also use its "protection" function to artificially control the part to be protected in the image. The protected part will be retained, unprotected parts are scaled.
Photoshop cs4 will be released at the end of this month.
It is strongly recommended that you watch this video. A cool demonstration at the end of the video will surprise many people. -Translator
