Photoshop CS6 Interface Setup Tutorial

Select the Edit menu, move the mouse pointer over preferences, and click Interface on the Pop-up submenu to open the Preferences dialog box. As shown in the following illustration:

1. Appearance

You can set the color of Photoshop CS6 software, click on the Color box after the "color scheme". A total of four color squares can be selected.

You can also set the effects of standard screen mode, full screen (with menus), full-screen colors, and boundaries.

2. Options

Auto-collapse icon panel: Select this option to automatically collapse an open panel to become an icon when you click another location in the application.

Auto Show hidden panel: Select this to open the automatic display and hide features of the panel. When the panel is hidden, moving the mouse over the top is slippery and the panel is temporarily displayed.

Show menu color: Select to make certain commands in the menu display the background color.

To open a document as a tab: When you open a document, all the documents are arranged in tabs, showing only one of the images. Click on the Tabs tab to switch between different image files.

Display tooltip: Move the cursor over the tool button and pause for a moment to show the button's message.

Enable floating document window docking: Select to display the document window individually in the window by dragging the Tab tab.

Enable text projection: Select this to turn on the text's projection effect.

Display channels in color: By default, each channel of RGB, CMYK, and lab images is displayed in grayscale. Select this to display the current channel color in color in a channel, depending on the color mode of the current image, otherwise displaying the current channel color in grayscale.

Display transform values: Displays the image with the size of the selected object, the angle of the transformation, and so on, so that you can keep abreast of the current situation when using common tools. The size of the selected object, the angle of transformation, and so on by default from the "upper right" corner, you can choose from "top left", "bottom left", "bottom right" or "total not" and so on.

Restore Default workspace: Click this button to restore the workspace to the Photoshop default state.

3. The text

User interface Language: You can select an interface language from the Drop-down list on the right. Select the "Simplified Chinese" item.

User interface Font Size: Sets the size of the font in the user interface. You can choose Medium or small.

Once you have set the options in the interface, click the OK button in the upper-right corner of the dialog box, and then restart Photoshop CS6, and the changes will take effect.
