The same is true for Photoshop's palette method. There are many ways to color colors in Photoshop, such as curves, color balances, and so on. This article will introduce the use of texture pictures to color the photos. There are 3 main advantages to using texture picture rendering:

1, simple, a photo processing time only a few minutes.

2, even if the photo is not filmed in a scene, using the same picture of the texture, you can guarantee the unity of the photo style.

3, you can use different texture pictures to achieve different photo style.

The method and principle of using texture image rendering is simple:

Step one: Open the photo, and then pull the picture of the problem you have prepared in advance directly into Photoshop with your mouse

The resolution of many texture pictures may be different from the resolution of your photos, the texture dragged into Photoshop, you can adjust 4 feet, so that the texture of the picture complete coverage of the picture. Press the "Enter" key when the adjustment is complete.

Step two: Set the texture layer's blending mode to soft light.

The soft light blending mode darkens or lightens the photo, depending on the brightness and color of the blend layer, and the effect is similar to the lighting in the photo. When the pixel in the layer is brighter than neutral, the picture darkens, as if it were deepened; the pixel in the layer is brighter than the neutral gray, and the photo becomes lighter, as if it were diluted, but it cannot be deepened into pure black or reduced to pure white. If the pixels in the layer are colored, the effect is similar to the color of the lamp in the photo, you can color the photo. In this case, the use of the "soft light" blending mode of this feature can be used to color the photo.

Step three: blur the texture layer

After you set the blending mode of the texture layer to soft light, the picture is colored with the texture. As shown in the following figure. At the same time texture pictures often have different sizes of particles, these particles can give a special atmosphere of the photo. For portrait photographs, if the particles are on the skin, they will not look so good. Here's a tip to quickly remove these particles and preserve the color of the texture picture. That's the fuzzy texture layer. First select the model with the rectangular marquee tool, the selection box does not have to be perfect, as long as the model is generally selected. Then press the shortcut key "Shift+f6" to feather the selection line.

After the feather is finished, click Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur to blur the selection. The fuzzy radius does not have a fixed value, the principle is that the model's skin can not see the texture of the image of the particles. After the blur is complete, the particles on the skin of the model are completely removed. and the color of the texture picture is preserved.

Step Fourth: Adjust the transparency of the texture layer

If the color of the texture picture is not exactly what you want, you can reduce the transparency of the texture layer according to your hobby. Until you feel "comfortable". If you're obsessed with transparency, you can also show your friends or co-workers that they're the best at the transparency. After adjusting the transparency of the photo, the photo should be the color you want, and the model is surrounded by textures and particles that will add a special atmosphere to the photo.

Fifth step: Enhance the photo of the high light

By the fourth step, the action to use the texture photo palette has ended. Hardening the photo's high light is not a necessary step. Just a person think that this is a good way to share with you here. Enhanced photo highlights can be used with diffused light filters. First press the shortcut key "Ctrl+alt+shift+e" to merge the layers, and then select the merged layers, and note that the background color of the Photoshop brush is set to white. Then click Filter > Filter gallery > Diffuse light, filter parameters are shown below, and then click OK.

After using diffused light, the photograph is usually handled excessively. You can also reduce the transparency of the texture layer by referring to the previous step. Until you feel "comfortable".
