This tutorial introduces the method of making neon words. General process: After the text with the layer style to make a simple light-emitting word effect, and then add some light bulbs and other materials decorated in the middle of the text, and then color can be rendered.
Final effect
1, open Photoshop, create a new document, size is 1113x1440 pixel, black background. Then you add a text vertically. |
2, select the text layer, go to "Layer > Layer Style > Projection." Use the following shadow values. Then set other values to refer to these graphs below. |

3. To create the lighting effect, we copy a light point from other pictures to make the light bulb. I use the image you can find it here. |
4. Place this light point on the text as shown below, and then merge the light points into one layer (layers > Merge layers). |
5, select the light point layer (bulb layer), enter the layer > Layer style > projection. Use the following values. |
6, now set the outer glow. |
7, to Image > Adjust > Hue and Saturation. Click on the coloring to set the value in the following figure, and change to pink hue. |
