1. Ensure that the two machines are in the same working group

Select the laptop as the server. On the "wireless network configuration" page, click the "add" button under "preferred network. Perform the preceding settings on the client. The setting (especially the SSID, data encryption method, and network key) must be the same as the setting on the server. On the client, you can find that there is a available wireless network marked as "001" in the pop-up "connect to wireless network" dialog box, and then click "Connect.

 

3. Set server and client IP addresses

 

This is also very important. Open the TCP/IP column of the wireless connection attribute of the server and set the IP address to 192.168.0.1. The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, the gateway is blank, and the DNS is blank; then, open the TCP/IP column of the local connection property on the server and set the IP address to 192.168.10.1 (note that this IP address must be different from the IP address of the wireless connection). The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, the gateway is blank, and the DNS is blank. Open the wireless connection attribute of the server-TCP/IP bar and set the IP address to 192.168.0.8. The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, And the gateway is 192.168.0.1. The DNS field is the DNS of the host cable broadband service provider, you can run -- cmd -- ipconfig/all at the beginning of the host.

 

Ping the IP address of the server on the client. If the IP address can be pinged, the setting is successful.

 

Select "wireless network connection" for the server, and select "Set Home or small office network". Follow the Wizard. Note that, for server requirements, select "this computer is connected directly to Ineternet ...... ".

4. enable host network sharing (ICS)

 

Set the network of the host to share. Note that if it is lan broadband or any residential broadband without dialing, you can directly share the local connection, but if you are using ADSL dial-up Internet access, it is important to share a dial-up connection instead of a local connection. At the same time, select "Home Network Connection" as the wireless network to be shared.

5. Use proxy server software on the host.

 

You must enable the proxy server software. Otherwise, you cannot access the Internet on the slave machine. I use CCProxy, which is installed by default and does not need to be set.

 

6. Set the client's IE.

 

Open IE, select connection in Internet Options, set LAN, use automatic configuration, use proxy server, all set to 192.168.0.1, other ports use 808, socket use 1080.
