Power View is a tool that enables you to create dynamic, interactive reports, and supports a rich variety of chart types, and reports created in power view can be easily shared and used by users who view reports to interact with the Power View report. Starting with this one, Anna will make a dynamic report in power view using the data she gets from power query to the power pivot.
To create a Power view report, the Power View button is found under the Insert label, and a new Power view workbook is created when clicked. The Power View report is still tied to other workbooks in Excel, but it's obviously quite different from a traditional Excel workbook, and it's more like a report Designer.
You can see the Ribbon menu of the corresponding power view under the Power View workbook.
In Anna's first Power View report, Anna decided to design a individual sector performance report. So she finds the Sp500_annual_data table created in the previous article in power view fields and clicks on the table's Drop-down arrows to see all the columns under the table.
