1. After you apply theme styles to the slides, on the Design tab, in the Variations group, click the other button
, select the Color option in the Open Drop-down list and select the built-in color scheme in the open cascading list, where the background fill color of the slide, the title text color, and the color of the content text will change, as shown in Figure 1.

2, on the Design tab, in the Variations group, click the other button
, select the Color option in the Open Drop-down list, select the custom color option in the cascading list to open the new Theme Color dialog box, click the Lower triangle button on a Set Item color button in the theme Colors field to open the Color Drop-down list, and then click a color option in the list to change the theme color. If you don't have the color you want in the given theme color list, you can select the other colors option in the list, as shown in Figure 2. The Color dialog box opens, and colors can be customized on the Custom tab, as shown in Figure 3. When you finish setting up, click OK to close the Color dialog box.

3, in the New Theme Color dialog box, enter the name of the custom color scheme in the Name text box, as shown in Figure 4, and then click the Save button to close the dialog box. The slide will now apply a custom theme color, and the color will appear in the colors list in the subject group, as shown in Figure 5.

Open the Color list, right-click on a custom Theme color option, select the Delete command on the shortcut menu to remove the theme color from the list, and select Edit to open the Edit Theme Colors dialog box, where you can reset the current custom theme colors.
