How do I set a chart background

In PowerPoint 2010, to make the chart more significant, you can add a background to the chart.

Step 1: Press the "ctrl+0" key combination to open a presentation, as shown in the following illustration.

Step 2: Select the chart you want to set the background to, switch to the layout panel, click the Chart Background Wall button Circle in the Background tab, and in the pop-up list box

Select the "Other Background wall options" option, as shown in the following illustration.

Step 3: Eject the Set Background Wall Format dialog box, select the Gradient Fill radio button on the Fill tab, click the Preset Colors button, and select the style in the pop-up list box, as shown in the following illustration.

Step 4: Click the Close button to set the chart background, as shown in the following illustration.
