PPPoE Server settings (ROS)

For PPPoE Server, we can usually configure and process on ROS. If ARP is completely solved, PPPOE service will be implemented. The following dial-up Internet access will solve the charging problem. As long as the IP address is set for the NIC, the IP address used for dial-up Internet access will not affect the IP address you set. The ros pppoe server settings are as follows:

1. Interface --> Add --> PPPoE Server:

Name: PPPoE (custom Name)

Type: PPPoE-in

User: (default)

Service: (default)

2. IP --> Pool --> Add:

Name: MyPool (custom Name)

Addresses: 192.168.1.0/24

3. PPP --> Interface --> PPPoE Server --> Add:

Service Name: PPPoE

Interface: lan

Max MTU: 1488

Max MRU: 1488

4. PPP --> Secrets --> Add:

Name: test (account id self-set)

Password: 123 (Password)

Service: pppoe

Local Address:

5. PPP --> Profiles --> click "default" --> General:

Local Address: 192.168.1.2

Remote Address: MyPool (in IP --> Pool)

Use Encryption: default

The above RouterOS "PPPoE Server" has been set.
