For larger projects, such as those using ExtJS's heavyweight UI framework, eclipse will collapse when deployed, so you can configure Tomcat to run without deployment and directly:
First find Tomcat's localhost directory: D:\VIP\tomcat\tomcat7_2014\conf\Catalina\localhost
Create a new XML file in the directory, the file name is the project name of your project, and then add the following code to the file:
<?xml version= "1.0" encoding= "UTF-8"? ><context docbase= "/d:/workspace2014/businessexpenses2/webroot" path = "/businessexpenses2" privileged= "true" reloadable= "false" crosscontext= "true" ></Context>
Docbase is the Webroot path for your project, path is the project name
With this deployment in place, you can restart eclipse to run the project directly without having to deploy
