Raspberry Pi + A network cable directly connected to a laptop

Use a network cable to connect directly to the computer without going through the router. The biggest feature of this method is to play Raspberry Pi with the least tool.

1. Connect.
Raspberry Pi receives power lines;
Connect one end of the network cable to Raspberry Pi and the other end to the notebook.
2. Internet sharing.
If your laptop is connected to the Internet through WiFi, you can share the Internet resources of the wireless network card with the local connection. Take Windows 7 as an example. Choose "Control Panel"> "network"> "Internet"> "network and sharing center"> "view network status and tasks"> "Modify adapter Settings", and right-click "properties" for wireless network connections ", on the share tab, select "allow other network users to connect to the computer over the Internet" and click OK.
 

3. Search for the IP address of Raspberry Pi.
Run the DOS window and enter ARP-A. The dynamic IP address under Interface 192.168.137.1 is the Raspberry Pi address.
 

Why is the interface 192.168.137.1? Because the "local connection" ip address has been automatically set to static IP 192.168.137.1 when the Internet is shared on the upper part, of course, this IP address can also be set to another common static IP address. Because the IP address of Raspberry Pi is dynamic at this time, you can only use this method to find it. You can also modify the line.txt file in the SDK (add the statement IP address = *** to it ***. ***. ***. * **), set Raspberry Pi to a static IP address, but in this case, the connection can be successful only when the static IP address of the computer's "Local Connection" is set to the same segment as the Raspberry Pi static IP address.
4. Use putty software to connect Raspberry Pi.
In this case, enter the dynamic IP address or the static IP address configured above to connect to Raspberry Pi, because the initial connection requires initialization and other operations.
5. graphical interface connection.
