Raspberry Pi Samba File server installation and configuration

1 after setting up the image source, it is easy to download the relevant software.

2 Download Samba

sudo apt-get install samba

3 Samba related Support Tools installation

sudo apt-get install samba-common-bin

4 Configuring Samba

/etc/samba/smb.conf

sudo nano smb.conf

My file configuration is:

[Global]

Log file =/var/log/samba/log.%m

[TMP]

Comment = Temporary file space

Path =/home/pi

Read Only = no

Public = yes

5 increased Samba users
sudo smbpasswd-a pi, Enter password two times

6 Restart Samba Services
sudo service Samba restart

7 Verification

At the beginning of Windows, enter: \\192.168.1.102

Enter a password, you'll be able to access the shared folder.
