Reduce the size of the program compiled by Delphi xe5

 

By default, the size of programs compiled by Delphi XE, xe2, xe3, xe4, xe5, xe6... is very large.

Generally, two methods can be used to greatly reduce the program volume.

I. It is very easy to disable rtti by using compilation instructions in the project. You just need to add the following definitions before the uses statement of the project:

{Reduce EXE size by disabling as much of rtti as possible (Delphi 2009/2010 )}

Ii. Disable debug information

Project-> options-> linking-> debug information is set to false.

New project: the default size of the compiled file is 9782kb.

The program size is kb.
