Corrupted messages can also be recovered using FinalData, as follows.
1. After entering FinalData, click E-mail recovery → Start message recovery, and then select the drive and folder where the message you want to repair resides, and then click OK to begin scanning for disk-related data.
2. At the end of the scan, in the pop-up "select the range of clusters to search" in the selection range to the maximum, click OK.
3. Files deleted before starting the scan.
4. After waiting for a period of time to display the search results, in the file list of the message, the message to be recovered is selected. Because the message is not visible from the list, it is not possible to determine the recovered message. This requires you to select a file, and then right-click and choose Recover information to view the contents of the message.
5. When the list of mail files is displayed, select a message and click "View Information" to view the contents of the message. View files one at a same way.
6. By viewing the contents of the message, identify the message that needs to be recovered, click Save Message, and then select the folder where you want to save the message to begin the recovery.
7. Enter Outlook Express, open the file you just saved, see if the message information is correct again, if it is correct, click Move to folder in file, select Inbox, click OK, and then restore the message to your original inbox.
