The first step in finding a successful job is to recognize your goals. Be specific about what you want in your next job, or your next job position. I've heard countless job-hunting people say, "I can do anything" or "do anything" when asked what kind of job they're looking for. A man who is willing to do anything will not get anything at the end.

Take a look at your resume. What is your goal? To avoid having no goals and to list several goals. These two extremes are bad for you and will make you seem less focused, irresponsible and incompetent.
