Cisco router configuration information and password cleanup

Applicable scope: All iOS 10.0 and above versions of Cisco 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 7000 series routers.
　　
The cleanup steps are as follows:
　　
1. With the router with the serial line connected to the console port, the following through the Win95 Super terminal;
　　
2. 60 seconds after the router power up, press CTRL (if not press Ctrl-break) key, waiting for "" "prompt;
　　
3. Type the "〉e/s 2000002" command and record the return value, used in the Router (config) #config-register 0x2102 command (usually the return value is 2102).
　　
4. After the symbol, type "O/R 0x42";

6. Type "Enable" (no password, press ENTER);
　　
7. Change password (whether or not encrypted):

8. Remove user prompts and passwords:

9. After completion press Ctrl-z end;
　　
10. Enter "Write" to save the changes;
　　
11. Enter privileged configuration mode, type "Config-register 0x2102" (note that this step must be completed);
　　
12. Write save configuration information;
　　
13. Exit configuration mode, reload complete the reboot router.
　　
Description: O/R 0x42 is the boot router from flash, if not successful, you can use O/R 0x41 from the ROM to boot the router, the rest of the operation and O/R 0x42 the same, but it is best only in the Flash boot unsuccessful or flash content is deleted, no flash case to use. 1. When the switch is power on, press and hold the SYS req button on the back panel of the switch for 5 seconds, and then loosen;

Scope of application: Intel Express SWITCH/10 switch+/100fx switch switch
　　
Method One:
　　
1. into the maintenance mode of the switch (Maintenance mode), enter: Run Defparm to reboot the switch, and change the original configuration to the original default (no password is original).
　　
2. Enter Maintenance Mode:
　　
A Turn off the switch and press the Maint button on the bottom panel, then power the switch on;
　　
b Press the button to keep 3 seconds to the system LED green light flashing quickly;
　　
C Release the Maint button.
　　
3. Through the serial port of the switch, with the direct serial line to 9600/N/8/1, compatible with the VT100 terminal mode into the switch;
