Router tplink882 How to set IP bandwidth functionality:

A user needs to ensure that the Intranet desktop games, video normal application, other terminals can normally browse the Web, QQ chat and other basic applications. The subscriber line is 4M ADSL line (uplink bandwidth 512Kbps, downlink bandwidth 4096Kbps). Combined with user requirements and total bandwidth, the allocation rules are as follows:

Note: This table is for informational purposes only, and the assigned value is actual. In this table, the other terminals share the allocated bandwidth.

Allocation principle: Ensure that the minimum bandwidth sum does not exceed the total bandwidth.

The desktop manually specifies the IP address (in this case 192.168.1.10);

Other terminals, such as computers and mobile phones, are set up to automatically obtain IP addresses.

Note: The desktop must specify the IP address, gateway, DNS, and other parameters when manually specifying the IP address.

1. Set Line Parameters

In the admin interface click IP Bandwidth Control, select the broadband line type for ADSL line. Uplink total bandwidth Fill 512, downlink total bandwidth fill 4096, click Save. The following figure:

2, add the rules of the desktop

Click Add new entry and fill in 192.168.1.10 at both the start and end addresses.

The uplink bandwidth minimum bandwidth is 300, the maximum bandwidth is 500, the set downlink bandwidth is minimum 1500, the maximum bandwidth is 3000, the setting completes clicks saves.

3, set other terminal rules

Click Add New Entry. Fill in 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.199, respectively, at the starting and ending addresses. Up to the minimum bandwidth of 200, the maximum bandwidth of 500, set the minimum downlink bandwidth of 2500, the maximum bandwidth of 3500, set to complete click Save.

Note: The default DHCP address pool is 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.199. Other terminals obtain an IP address from the address pool.

4, open IP bandwidth control

Check to open IP bandwidth control, click Save.

This IP bandwidth control setting is complete. The desktop can achieve downlink minimum 1500Kbps of bandwidth, other terminals share the minimum 2500Kbps total bandwidth, various terminals can achieve corresponding bandwidth requirements.
