Step 1. Considerations when connecting to devices.
1.Kies does not support all Samsung devices, please click here to enter the Download Center for more information about the Kies supported devices.
2. If a locked device is connected to Kies, the device should be unlocked.
3. Can connect up to four units at the same time.
Step 2. Pre-fault diagnosis check matters.
If your device has confirmed support for Kies, or has previously used Kies, you can follow these steps to resolve:
1. After opening the Kies software, if prompted to update, please click "Update" to upgrade to the latest version.
2. Disconnect the phone from the computer, and then reconnect the phone to the computer using the data cable.
3. Be sure to connect the data cable directly to the USB connector on your computer, and do not use a USB extender.
4. Close Kies and reopen the Kies application.
5. reboot The computer and your device.
Step 3. Perform Kies fault diagnosis.
Kies software interface in the upper left corner if the mobile phone model description has been connected successfully, if the above operation, still do not show the phone model, can not connect the normal Kies software, please continue the following operation:
1. Disconnect the phone from the computer, and then click "Resolve connection Failure" in the Kies software.
2. Open the "Resolve Connection Failure" window, click "Start", Reload Kies device driver.
3. When the connection failure is completed, click "Finish", and the mobile phone can be connected with the computer.
