When we add new fields to the SharePoint document library or list, we may not consider the order of the input fields, but after creation we find that the order of the user input fields needs to be changed. Many people think of using SharePoint Designer or other tools to change the order of fields, but you can change the order by SharePoint settings.
Each field set in SharePoint corresponds to a content Type, such as the set of fields that the following illustration makes us create in disorder.
At this point we found that the total of the field should be followed by the order Date. The order should be the same as the image below, to better fit the input habits.
Changing the input order of fields is simple and can be accomplished by following these steps.
The function of managing content type is enabled through the List settings-> Advanced settings.
2. Through list Settings-> Content Type
3. Change the order of the fields by column orders.
4. Complete.
If you want to achieve higher requirements, such as the addition of customized validation, font color, background and so on. You may want to use SharePoint Designer.
