SharePoint 2013 Instance 1-building a three-tier server farm 5-Configuring the DB Layer 3-analog storage

Source: Internet
Author: User

In the first two sections we configure the DB layer, and shared storage is typically based on hardware storage devices. But how do we simulate the storage of clusters with our experimental environment? WINDOWS2012 has already supported iSCSI services and is built into the file service.

1. We open the server Add Roles and Features wizard, open the file and iSCSI services, tick the iSCSI target server to install this server role.

One more item found in Server Manager after installation: File Box Storage Service

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image004 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image004" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6B/64/wKiom1UseX6BrVVUAAC1l2CIsa4788.jpg" height= "217"/>

Here I have newly mounted a hard disk as storage, so I want to create a new volume first.

Open the volume, click the taskbar, and select New volume.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image006 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image006" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/64/wKiom1UseYHSNEDxAAB0PxZRwE8791.jpg" height= "/>"

Pick a newly mounted disk

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image008 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image008" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/60/wKioL1UseteSgQdQAADq5sCEXUg925.jpg" height= "409"/>

Specify the volume size because I am building a basic disk here, so only the maximum 2T size is supported.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image010 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image010" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6B/60/wKioL1UsetnjQSIxAACfv1q1EZ0826.jpg" height= "412"/>

Assign Drive letter

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image012 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image012" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/64/wKiom1UseYyBsg--AADNbbc02U4741.jpg" height= "406"/>

Specify the file system

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image014 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image014" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/64/wKiom1UseY2B1BPBAADGXblfsK0238.jpg" height= "408"/>

The last new volume is completed.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image016 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image016" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6B/64/wKiom1UseY_zJ4bKAADCS9fDyDQ947.jpg" height= "408"/>

Finally, you can find the newly created volume from the status bar of the volume.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image018 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image018" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/64/wKiom1UseZDSxcFsAABnb3049k4606.jpg" height= "/>"

2. Next configure the iSCSI virtual disk. We need to create the following shared iSCSI disks.

Allocate iSCSI targets, that is, which servers have access to this iSCSI storage.

Here, because there is no iSCSI target, select New iSCSI target.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image028 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image028" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/60/wKioL1Useu3D7sbWAADEG7ALQRg577.jpg" height= "424"/>

Authentication service, not selected here.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image038 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image038" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/64/wKiom1UseanhZqnTAADKKXxO4hI452.jpg" height= "423"/>

Finally confirm, create.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image040 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image040" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/60/wKioL1UsevvjJsy_AADmbC651BI030.jpg" height= "423"/>

Once created, we can view the newly created iSCSI virtual Disk in the iSCSI status window.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image042 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image042" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/60/wKioL1Usevzhi3CpAACAnic52gw556.jpg" height= "169"/>

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image044 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image044" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/64/wKiom1Usea2ThNasAABw9xmlRX4885.jpg" height= "104"/>

Again, we create a virtual disk for MSDTC.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image046 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image046" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/60/wKioL1Usev-xATlpAAC8gxzqOB8364.jpg" height= "425"/>

Specify the size, general 2~4g can.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image048 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image048" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6B/64/wKiom1UsebCiNzxkAAE8YsV2v7Y658.jpg" height= "426"/>

Allocate iSCSI targets, as the iSCSI target named SQL has just been established and is directly selected here.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image050 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image050" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/64/wKiom1UsebGy86XtAADCloOelC0138.jpg" height= "424"/>

After the MSDTC disk is created, create a new quorum shared disk.

The last disk status is as follows, you can see the disk status or not connected.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image052 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image052" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/64/wKiom1UsebOCae7AAACUPQW98-E692.jpg" height= "/>"

3. Then we log in to two database servers and connect to the iSCSI shared disk that we just created.

Open the iSCSI Initiator.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image054 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image054" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6B/60/wKioL1UsewXjiT_FAAEFh6MI6oo998.jpg" height= "326"/>

Fill in the address of the iSCSI server and click Quick Connect

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image056 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image056" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6B/60/wKioL1Usewjwuh4CAAJQGPwckZ0147.jpg" height= "666"/>

4. After completion, you can find 3 shared disks in Disk Management and the status is offline.

650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image058 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image058" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6B/60/wKioL1UsewmBryjdAACdt1VrlXc385.jpg" height= "267"/>
