Siemens launches new product for Industrial Ethernet POF and PCF cabling

Recently, Siemens launched a new Industrial Ethernet (Industrial Ethernet) POF and PCF cabling system with SC RJ connector.

POF and PCF optical fiber cables can be easily assembled on site using PROFINET-compatible SC RJ connector. The two end-to-end toolbox can be used for on-site cable assembly:

The pof SC RJ connector's end-to-end toolkit includes wire stripping tools, Kevlar scissors, grinding boards, grinding disks, and microscopy

The pcf SC RJ connector's end-to-end toolkit includes strip tools, Buffer strip tools, Kevlar scissors, optical fiber cutting tools, and microscopy

The SC RJ connector used for both cable types has a clamping mechanism to firmly pin the optical fiber and tension release units together with the connector screws ). In the case of a POF conductor, the optical fiber stretched out at the connection head is cut off and polished by the edge cutter. In the case of a PCF conductor, the extended optical fiber is cut off by a special tool after the optical fiber is fixed to the connector.
