SQL statement Introduction: cursor

Open # Cur
Fetch   Next   From # Cur Into   @ ID , @ PID , @ Ver
While   @ Fetch_status = 0

Fetch   Next   From # Cur Into   @ ID , @ PID , @ Ver
End
Close # Cur
Deallocate # Cur

 

Here, fetch next from # cur into @ ID, @ PID, @ ver reads the record of the current row and places it in the column order in these three variables.

Equivalent to select @ ID = ID, @ pid = PID, @ ver = ver from table where condition.
