Omap34xx and omap35xx are the same chip. Because they belong to different departments, their names are different.
Specifically, omap34xx is used for mobile phones. It only provides pop packages of 0.4/5mm, and pop packages of 0.4/0.5/0.65 and Cus.
The chip data can be considered the same. The development platform and software resources are different. For example, 34xx provides SDP, and the software includes Linux, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and CSST; 35xx provides Mistral EVM, underlying Linux, and wince BSP, but provides a relatively small number of application software.
TI's wireless department is called omap3430, mainly targeting markets such as smartphone, mid, and netbook. Ti will provide and maintain pre-integrated Linux/Wm/Symbian BSP, including Android integration. generally, the customer needs to sign the NDA and the corresponding lincense WITH Ti.
